Step 1: Assess
If you are new to Levementum, we’ll first perform an assessment or audit of your existing system. We’ll validate that your system is ‘upgrade safe’ and if there are any elements that perhaps were not deployed in the proper way, we’ll provide remediation options to make them upgrade safe. If you have any extensions or add-ins installed in your environment, we’ll validate if they are compatible and necessary in the version you are upgrading to.
We’ll also look at your traffic patterns, the new software version, and your existing hardware infrastructure to identify if any upgrades are needed for the underlying infrastructure prior to your upgrade being completed.
Step 2: Execute and Validate
Levementum will first upgrade your site in a staging environment so together we can validate that everything you had in place is still functioning as it was and in many cases even better. If there are any issues caused by the upgrade process, we’ll triage them with you so that patches are in place before you upgrade your production site.
Step 3: Transition
Once your validation step has been completed and approved, we’ll schedule a time to upgrade your production site so that we avoid or minimize any disruptions to your online business. Once your site is upgraded, Levementum is available to provide ongoing support for any additional features you want to add on your newly upgraded site.
