We are seeing the erosion of Salesforce.com’s “first mover advantage” in the world of SaaS, as players like SugarCRM are delivering higher value than Salesforce.com in specific dimensions.

Carlson writes a great article that presents SugarCRM, Oracle CRM On-Demand, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics and Sage Saleslogix, as viable, and in some cases, superior options to Salesforce.
